DarkIndigo says that she’s “turning blue and white, like china”. I like her all blue tattoos a lot — the leaves are being done by Scott Garriepy at 1st Ammendment Tattoo in Simi Valley, CA, and the Newgrange-inspired spirals were done by Kim Durham at Prix in Hollywood.

Ooh, those are nice. It reminds me of drawing on a skin with ball point pen, too, but far more delicately and nicely done.
That sort of swirl pattern is something I do like to doodle, anyway, very pleasing to me for some reason.

You know, sometimes, an amazing idea can have a not-so-amazing follow-through, but both the intent and the execution here are wonderful. It’s a refreshing change from blackwork (which looks great, too.)

Hey, thanks you guys! I am pretty happy with them, myself. If anything, I just wish they’d all be bigger. I am so glad I waited until I was older to start getting tattooed. My whole china concept that didn’t come to me until I was around 30 would have been blown if I’d gotten the stupid fairy I wanted when I was 18.
