Hellbomb sends in these “Right” and “Left” wrist tattoos that Bob Paulin at 123 Tattoo and Piercing in St. Catharines did on her — what’s weird to me is that they’re more a reminder to others, since they must look upside down to her!

Yeah I’m such a geek I automatically interpretted RL as meaning “real life”, I like the carnie style letters. The hunk tattoo above is pretty groovy too.

It’s very nice but I’ve never understood why people get wrist tattoos upside down. If its for you, it should be facing you. Someone please explain?

I thought it was “real life” as well. Perhaps I need to incorporate some kind of photo-realistic tattoos soon, and have an arrow pointing at them that says “IRL.” I am a jackass. Anyway, that font kicks ass. Much better than many I’ve seen lately.

@Kayla
Well, do you get upper arm pieces upside down so you can see them properly when you look down? Or chest pieces?

Funny, from her perspective the letters are upside-down. I wonder if that throws her off when glancing to find her direction.

What a fantastic typeface!!! It looks like Rosewood. The artist really caught the details in the lettering. Absolutely beautiful!!
I love typographical tattoos!!

She’s obviously getting at least one sleeve…having the letters facing her would look rediculous with the rest of her work if it was all facing different directions. Even if a tattoo is “for you” the aesthetic it gives overall should be considered.
