A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Hands by Hand

Boff did these two hand tattoos by hand. Because of the thicker skin, hand tattoos are particularly suited to hand poking which gives often better results in these cases than can be achieved with a machine (especially on the palms and sides of the hands).

the tattoo on the left was finished a couple of months ago and took 4 3hr sessions, the one on the right is not quite finished (see the 2 swastikas on the index finger? they need to be done on the other fingers too) but was started about two years ago, we do a session when we get a chance, usually once every 6 months!
