A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

“The relative size of the albatross”

Um… Ok… Liana’s tattoo is by Ryan Zachary (ryanzachary.net) in Portland, OR. I don’t really know what it means but I like it.

I really like it, too. I enjoy tattoos that seem to have an elaborate story behind them that you’ll never know for whatever reason.

Having said that, I think this is pretty funny and really cool on its own, without a story.

If an albatross is anywhere as aggressive as the geese I saw on ebaumsworld yesterday, I wouldn’t be standing that close with my package unprotected

What’s to get? This is the size of an albatross relative to an adult male?

  17. Felicia Avatar

on dictionary.com (I thought I’d post this because albatross is one of my favourite words):

    2. a seemingly inescapable moral or emotional burden, as of guilt or responsibility.
    3. something burdensome that impedes action or progress.
