A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Hanya Flesh Removal

This full back Hanya mask scarification, cut out of black-heavy tattooing, was done by Thorsten Sekira at Modified World in Munich, Germany.

i’m sorry, but i have to be honest – i think that looks bloody awful.

I love the Hanya mask, and have a world of respect for anyone who has flesh removal work done, but over the top of incredibly bizarre tattoo back piece, it just looks sloppy and too much of a mish-mash of poorly planned ideas.

if it was just the mask on it’s own, i’d be drooling about how amazing it looks, but over the top of that black mess of a back piece, it’s woeful.

    just my opinion.

i think it looks great, but (IMO) it seems like he is using the scarification to cover up the tattoo work somehow.

maybe it’s just the photo, but the cutting looks looks really deep.

Scarification is gorgeous – the tattooes are a mess though
and due to that it took me some time to see the hanya-mask.

I would of liked to see that scar over a fully blackened back.
