This is Tobii’s first legal tattoo (a coverup — which is part of the reason you should wait until you’re legal so you can go to a quality artist), a set of Monarch butterfly wings on each ankle (half on each ankle that is). This photo was taken with one of the butterflies from the first batch she raised — both the tattoo obsession and the butterfly raising obsession were inheritted from her father, making it very significant to her. The tattoos was done by Jeanine at Valle’s Tattoo in Danbury, CT.

I like the tattoo and all but it not a very good cover-up. I can still see the previous tattoo.

Yeah… I really love the story and the motivation, but you’re right; the tattoo underneath is definitely quite visible… But I love the story behind it.

Kevin, good Venture Bros. reference. I love that show. That is kind of where my mind went when I saw this too.

I really like the picture and the tattoo. You can see the old tattoo quite well, but not so much that it ruins the new one… doesn’t really bother me.

Rori – Haha, you’re right — In a way that actually makes it nice that the old tattoo still shows through a bit!
