Vampire McMuffin (hilarious username by the way) had this nice third eye piercing (a dermal anchor) done by John Rowan at Rendezvous Tattoo and Body Piercing in Blacksburg, Virginia. If you’re interested in learning more, he’s written two articles about it: Prying Open My Third Eye and Part Two which are both good introductions if you’re interested in trying out this type of modification.

My eye is doing alright. I think I irritated it a couple days ago and the hematoma was a bit sore but it’s better and better every day. I definitely want to do more…
