All I can think is that I’d have chosen a kinkier bra – is it bad that fashion is what I notice first? The nettles came a paltry fourth after both corset and nipples!

Nettles (Urtica dioica) are a type of herb (or weed, depending on where you stand on the issue – gardener or herbal practitioner).
The leaves and the stems are covered with hairs, and when they come in contact with your skin, can leave you with a rash (and a burning itching sensation) You are often left with little bumps on the skin that have a similar appearance to tiny mosquite bites. If memory serves me the irritant is a histamine but I’m not 100% sure – it’s ben a long time since I studied herbal medicine lol
The leaves can be made into a tea which is great for convalescing (particularly good to help someone getting over the flu I’ve found) as they are quite high in iron. When the leaves are dried the stinging hairs become in active, so before anyone asks, no you don’t get stung inside your throat whn you drink the tea. Unfortunately though the tea taste very much like cut grass lol

I am happy to see that you like nettles, too! I use tham on a different, but equally interesting body part. You may want to have a look at my diary on IAM (username “barcode”; among the very first entries – unable to check now because of the server maintenance)
A wonderful, very healthy herb, quite effective for rheumatism!
Be careful if you have allergies, however!!
