A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Six Point Coma Suspension

Jasn (Pacific Rootz) facilitated this first-time suspension in Maui, Hawaii.

now i’m pretty used to most things, but i can’t ever remember seeing such a clear and up close shot of a suspension, and just the look of the hooks pulling at the skin actually made me wince. It is indeed nice scenery, but it looks like an edge of a deck or some wood in the corner of the shot?

oooh… my favorite style to suspend…
@#2: If you look in the “coma suspension” BME gallery, there`s a few more pictures of this one. Actually, being able to see the hooks and what`s happening to the body while suspending was what drew me towards doing it like this for my first one.
