A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

i’d love to get a uv tattoo when i’m of age, but the uncertainty of whether it would be be visible under normal light or not makes me hesitate. obviously i wouldn’t get something tattooed on myself that i didn’t want seen, but (to me) the main appeal of a uv tatty is that it’s a secret until you’re under a black light.

I have a UV tattoo on my throat, and after 4 months, there is a very very VERY thin white line of scarring where the liner was used – not noticeable unless I point it out to people. It’s fading all the time, and will be totally gone in 6 months. Get it done! It’s great having a secret tattoo in such an obviously visible place.

Right.. so what do we know about the dangers of UV ink? For me, getting cancer is a big turn off. What’s the word nowadays?

I’m personally worried about the UV lamp necessary to see the ink, not the ink itself.
