A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Hmmm… 6×9=42? That math doesn’t seem right?

I think the answer is correct, but the question just doesn’t make much sense to me. Well, it took seven and a half million years to get this far… I guess I can be patient. (See also: lots of geek/nerd-esque tattoos).

Such a good book, and the BBC TV show is great. The new movie however was lacking.

That’s what you get when an American with no concept of British humour tries to Americanise good ol’ British humour.

I love the ship powered by the mathematical anomolies that occur when dividing a check in a restaraunt. I think that is such a funny concept.

unfortunately, people usually stare at me funny when I express that love…

Awwwwww… I clicked on it with the intention of pointing out the math is right in base 13 but someone already beat me to it. I may be a big geek but I guess I’m not the only one here.

#26 actually the screenplay was mostly written by Douglas Adams, he was VERY much involved until his death. He even wrote the part for John Malkovich, FOR him… Garth Jennings was the director, he’s british…

I love how people always try and compare movies to books, and then say the movie was bad because it wasn’t just like the book. It’s a movie, it’s gonna be different. I thought the movie was brilliant!

i thought the movie failed to capture much of the wackiness that the book contained. it followed the book step by step, but it omitted a lot of dialogue and narration that gave the book its charm.
