A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

“Dead Cat” Suspension?

Care of Satan’s love child and the folks from Hanged Man Team in Melbourne, Australia, here’s a four point coma-minus-the-body-hooks suspension that she’s called “dead cat” style… I guess naming styles of suspensions is like naming styles of kung fu.

derkaiser did this before I think. Dunno if I like the name “dead cat” for a suspension position! Something a bit creepy about it.

Yep, I`ve seen this done by Trevor (Lone_Tone) first, and
    Benny (derkaiser) did
this as well only last month. Check the old modblog entry here,
where Roo called it a “knelbow” suspension.

I don’t remember reading that Satan’s Love Child was the first person to invent this…

I’m just going to appreciate her attempt at her “dead cat” suspension and say well done. Well done to anyone who can do this.

I have a pic of myself suspended just like this the only differance is my hooks are in my knees and wrist instead of knees and elbows. I guess if this is the dead cat suspension then what I did must be the dead dog!

Careful, did you ask the cats and dogs for permission before deciding on the names? Who says dead cats and dogs like being hung upside down anyway?
