A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Ganesh Scarification

This Ganesha with lotus flowers cutting (I just love the placement and how it’s spread across the arm!) was done by Christiane at Pinpoint Piercing in Oslo, Norway.

I assume the photo was taken in a mirror, given that the person in the photo is pointing the camera at the viewer.

I love #1′s sly little “I know which way the Om is meant to face” dig. It made me laugh. And the piece is beautiful, too.

Is is depressing that the first thing I notice is the Sony Ericsson K750i? I think it means I’ve worked at SE for FAR to long! Oh, the cutting is great too!

I’ve really been debating having a Ganesh-centered left half-sleeve lately. Coincidental, it’s extremely well done.
