A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

This was taken at our 3rd So. Cal. Well-Hung HANGout. Our friend Neil is one of our suspension team photographers and helping him through this time was definately an experience. As you can tell by the photo, our tem is very compassionate toward what we do! Thanks Frank for the great photo!!

I sort of waited before I posted a comment about this picture … I’m the one who took it.

Neil, the man who is suspended, gave me his camera and asked me to capture this moment. Like other amateur photographers I take a hundred pictures and am only happy with one or two of them. I am extremely happy with this one. I am moved by the comments about … everything said is true. I add my own personal knowledge of the individuals in the photo and the adrenalin and excitement of the moment. Eric, got it right … compassion … I could never see myself being a part of suspension without them.

Thanks guys for allowing me to be apart of it all …

I’ve been part of countless moments like this in every event or family gathering we have, but it can happen so fast, so good job franks on capturing the moment forever to share. Viewing the pics always evoke the memories and feelings shared those days, and take us back to that experience.
    Thanks franks
