A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

I think that’s a fantastic way to chronicle your life, what a mindblowing idea. I do my best with photos, but this is really novel 🙂

I really like the concept, but it makes me a little bit sad that it was so poorly done…

wow, amazing idea. I don’t think the quality is too bad, sure it could be better but it could be ALOT worse.

Is this done to scale of a real film strip? I really like the idea of adding to it through out his life.

I had the idea to do the exact same thing. How disappointing some else has done it first.

oh well. I shall make my art even cooler and feel more triumphant this way.

I am about to get my second tattoo in Los Angeles!! Yay! It’s all I can think about. I want to get something that says/implies “Live and Let Live” but I’m not crazy about having it fully written out. Can anyone think of a symbol/flower or something in another language (latin) that wil represent what I’m trying to say?? Or– is there a website you can think of that has a lot of this kind of info? thanks so much. Tess

The strip is done to actual scale of 35mm film. If you look closely you can even see the sound lines. Thumbs Out Canada is a documentary about a hitchhiking race across Canada which is currently being edited. As I make more films I will add to the strip and eventually have a roll of film that wraps around my leg.
