This daith set was done by Benjamin at Spirit Garden Tattoo and Body Piercing in Northfield, MN, using 16ga 9/16″ and 5/16″ rings. I like when people take these really “simple” piercings and shine them up a little with pretty variations.

I’ve read back entries of the modblog about stealing tattoo ideas and I’m trying to distinquish between getting inspiration and ripping someone off. Of course, with a graphic there are plenty of modifications you can make to the design. Piercings, not so much. What is the ettiquette on copying piercings? I really like this.
Nice idea, love it!
whoa that’s cool.
Curious – I think in general it’s just fine, and certainly I’ve posted lots of double daiths to BME in the past (but I thought this was a nice placement).
Simple but very effective, it looks so delicate and feminine.
I really like how the 9/16ths ring hugs her ear just perfectly, and the 5/16ths ring is the perfect size to go inside it!
Lovely.
that is really pretty
I like the set, and how well it is placed inside her ear, but I am completely distracted by the mole on the side of her face. She should get that looked at.
Haha, awesome piercing 😀
And Dude, that is hardly even a mole at all lol.
When they need to be looked at they look a LOT scarier than that haha.
Did she heal it with those rings in?
If so, god that must of been annoying..
Very pretty though.
wow thats gorgeous! i think one daith is enough for me for now though >_
Great proportions, that is very pretty.
Beautiful! The big one looks so deep.
The daith is gorgeous but the cheesecutter wire in the lobe looks out of place next to it…
Slam dunk Benny!!! Nice Photo as well..just a grate close up! How old is it now?
oh kewl!:)
those are only 16 gauge? they look bigger to me.
That’s amazing, it’s like a little set of orbits inside her ear.
oh god one daith hurt bad enough for me, i can’t imagine two..
heh, that looks really pretty 🙂
I wanted double daiths so I could wear spirals, but there was barely room for singles in my stupid ears. I’m jealous.
I loooove how it looks. It goes really well with their anatomy 🙂
Nice! I did something similar on a friend a while back in both her ears. I just like daith piercings in general.
thanks for the kind words everyone, and this piercing is about two month old now.
i have teeny weeny ears and when i wanted a daith, i couldn’t get it. 🙁
this is so pretty!
That looks really good, its amazine how they just sit inside her ear so nicely. Very well done.
I can’t even imagine what her ear would look like without them now.
Ben!! High Five!
That’s beautiful! did you get them both at the same time?
