A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

I don’t know much about scarification and/or branding, but I’m assuming you pick the scabs for a more profound scar?

its a brand. i almost never pick my scabs and this was most definitly accidental. i was lifting boxes and pulled half of it off.
also: i dont think shannon gets enough credit for creativly insterting ‘modblog.bmezine.com’ in these pictures. this one is perfect, haha.

Oh man. I can look at most ModBlog entries without even blinking, but this… arrgh. It sent shivers up my spine.

On the flipside, I think it’ll look fantastic when it’s healed.

Scarification is great to mark places where usually normal tattoos would fade easily

There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension.
