A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

I think it’s a Kozyndan bunnyfish…

…for those of you who were wondering what that is. DIY scarification (the peace sign being a brand) by Simone Isonme. If you’re an IAM member, visit her page for lots more pictures (and a pretty funny photo of her boyfriend’s morning wood).

not a big fan of this kind of scarification…i would assume the reasons for doing each are quite different in most cases… but to each his/her own…

Is it just me, or does it look like she’s a cutter? It looks like she has hundreds of small scars on her thighs. I might be misreading the photo though. …Not that it’s really matters anyways.

I think this is angst-cutting rather than a deliberate mod, but maybe I’m wrong.

the peace sign is most definitely a deliberate mod. most of my scars are as well. although, i will admit some of them (mostly from middle/high school) weren’t exactly planned. but i love them all the same.
