A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Twins… Again

I’ve gotten tattooed versions of this Dorian Cleavenger painting a couple times now, always labeled slightly differently. I think last time it was a Gemini tattoo, and this time “Bitches Get Stitches”. This version is by Davey A at Ace of Spades in New Britain, CT.

Freakish. I live (and work) in New Britain, too. The town’s kinda shitty so I was always afraid to even go into the shops here, haha. Glad to know there’s good artists anyway. 😀

Yeah peejay, I usually go to a place in West Hartford that I like so I have never even stopped into a New Britain shop. I actually live about 35-45 min away (depending on traffic), but spend most of my time there with school, work and such. Funny I didn’t even know there were any BME people around this area. Even when I did search on IAM there was barely any haha.

  • Suspended, Not Silenced
There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension. We all build up ideas about ourselves—what we’re allowed to feel, how much we’re allowed to express, when it’s okay to break. For some, suspension is not about pushing physical limits its… Read more: Suspended, Not Silenced

Some stories take their time, unfolding over decades, through life’s long detours and diversions. But dreams never rest until they’re fully realized. • What Lifts the Body, Shifts the Soul
First suspensions are rarely just about the body—they’re a meeting point between the physical and the deeply personal.
