James Wisniewski (Body Electric, Hollwood CA) did this 6mm titanium prong faced CZ microdermal recently… I think I remember someone commenting on how microdermals were interesting to them because they opened up a whole lot of body decorating options that were not available before except through procedures arguably in the “[very] minor surgery” category rather than “piercing” category like microdermals are. I suppose this helps illustrate that notion.

I’m loving the idea of microdermals. Is there anywhere in the UK that’s offering them?

I met a girl once who had a pair of swallows tattooed on her chest, and each swallow had one of these little transdermal jewels in its eye. It was a very nice effect. I got a picture of one of the swallows, but she had taken the jewel out to show me, so it’s not in the picture:

I wonder if these could replace the current pierced monroe to eliminate possible gum erosion?

xCatWomaNx, I have been using them for monroe`s in some cases, along with cheeks. They work really well.

Yeah microdermals are a great idea.. but has anyone thought about the after effect or even posted about the removal procedures, these things have to be cut out. Easy to put in; Not so easy to remove. Once these become more available. Not so respectable shops will be doing these on anyone without thinking about the after effects(because they are so easy to do). We will end up with young teenagers, or people that don’t think past the action itself with them all over their bodies.
