“I’m the envy of the faculty lounge,” writes Mr. Sowers about his tattoo by Drew Rash at Kadillac Tattoo in Philadelphia, PA.

I have such a thing for teachers! If only I could find a tattooed teacher my dreams would come true. So hot.
AMAZING! the idea, execution, and the sentiment behind this ink just makes me smile from ear to ear.
I just want to hug him.
Very cool!
Like “n”, above, this just makes me smile from ear to ear!
No fair, I have to keep EVERYTHING hidden. Maybe that’s because I am only a student teacher and therefore pretty low on the food chain and still trying to make a good impression. I always figured I’d wait for tenure to be a little sloppy about hiding tattoos…
the only thing that could possibly match this is mr. ray from finding nemo 🙂
How much you want to bet he made damn sure it got spelled right?
It’s old-school as well! (Pun intended.)
Beautiful.
You get a gold star, dear! A+
That’s really cool that he’s passionate about what he does. The tattoo is really well done, too.

Awwwwwww I wish I had a teacher like him…
ohmygod that’s awesome! love it
hahahahahaha…
This is awesome. I hope there’s a time when I don’t ahve to cover up my tats while teaching. 🙂
More teachers need to have body modifications. This tattoo is stunning, and if anyone in the facility ever discriminate him for this tattoo, then they are really fucked up. I forwarded the link to my teacher friend and he said it was great.
I am, for the first time ever, at a district where I am required to hide my tattoo and hate it. Didn’t think I had to ask a discriminatory question like “Do you have an anti-tattoo policy” in my interview.
