A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

THE FUCKED WHICH BELONGS TO YOU

D-BO swears it’s gramatically incorrect “just to bother you” (and there’s room to change it anyway)… By Dan Ross at Amazing Grace Body Arts in Geneva, NY.

    my fucked WHAT?!

if it is meant to bother others it certainly worked on me! i can’t stand seeing this kind of thing on signs, etc…a tattoo is even worse, though. but i guess if there is room to change it…

I saw the same thing done with knuckles once….oy veh!

It’s certainly bothering me. Great idea, but I don’t know how the wearer can bear to look at it every day; would drive me nuts.

That IS very annoying! Why does that have to be so irritating?
Why am I such a dweeb?

    bummer.

This is one of those things where no matter how vehemently you insist it was intentional, no one with the grammar skills to know the difference (although sadly, less than there should be) is going to believe the wearer.

Incorrect use of you’re/your physically hurts me.

  9. cuntcumber Avatar

I dunno, astrosnik. I can easily see someone doing it just to mess with people — after all, it definitely works.

That’s the worst tattoo I’ve ever seen. It makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out.

All people being tattooed and those tattooing should be forced to read Eats, Shoots and Leaves.

    Assuming they can read 🙂

For once I’m in 100% agreement with Giles –
Eats, Shoots and Leaves is a great book and amusingly is actually sitting only a few feet away from me right now.

God. That’s one of the gramatical errors I hate the most too. Your and You’re don’t even sound the same.

Argh…as much as I hate poor grammar, what I hate more is people that do incredibly lame things “just to piss people off” =/ what are you, 12?

  21. jareb Avatar

all this, and no one mentions that it IS afterall a nice tattoo… who cares why he did it? his tattoo, his choice… at least he went to a good artist for it… nice work dan

  22. cuntcumber Avatar

Cedes — I think it’s people like you that D-BO is hoping to bother.

You know what else is annoying about this tattoo? The fact that the T Rex has three fingers on at least one of its hands (can’t tell if the other one has three fingers as well). They’re only supposed to have two…

…Unless, of course, this is an allosaurus, the smaller, wimpier, three-fingered cousin of the T Rex.

sometimes yes I would think he is 12… if you have an IAM acct look for him under D_BO

cuntcumber…. I think it’s people like you that D-BO is hoping to bother.

    BAMMO! you get the prize….

Jareb….all this, and no one mentions that it IS afterall a nice tattoo… who cares why he did it? his tattoo, his choice

    Thank you

if you are a moron enough to get this tattooed, i guess you deserve it…

    horrible!!!

  28. L1ZZARD Avatar

Hahaha @ “Eats, Shoots and Leaves” comment. That book is a must for anyone known for grammatical errors!

The tattoo isn’t bad… even if it wasn’t intentional at least people say something about it. If the error wasn’t there people would just look at it and say: “What a stupid tattoo. T-Rex? Please!” or something. It’s okay.
