A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

STANSMOKEFOOT

Do you want an explanation, or would you like to revel in the photo for a moment?

It’s Spahnranch‘s husband smoking with her foot, tattooed with his name in little kid script, done by Ray Askey in State Line Tattoo in Silver Spring, Maryland.

AHHH! That’s my foot! And my husband!

Thanks Shannon, I feel famous. 🙂

Believe it or not, 11 years later, you can still see that tattoo on the bottom of my foot. It’s faded, yes, but it’s still readable.

🙂 I am honored. Again, TY Shannon.

It’s amazing that the foot tattoo hasn’t faded completely -everything I’ve heard before is that they are basically doomed to fail.

I think this is actually a really nice photo, though I absolutely hate feet.
