A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

DIY Lichtenstein Tattoo

This was self-tattooed by Barrett (not Brad) Russell in Saskatoon… I’ve seen a few Lichtenstein tattoos but this is probably the only DIY one.

I agree with Vinyl that the color choices detract from the overall effect, but I’m still happy to see more fine art tattoos.

When I first read the entry title on my Live Journal RSS feed I thought it was referring to the COUNTRY not the artist. i wondered, “Who would tattoo THAT on themselves?” (Though I’m sure there are people who would!)
