A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Bass Tattoo

As in the fish, not the guitar. This tattoo was done by Carlos Montes at Fresno Tattoo in (you guessed it) Fresno, CA. Speaking of fishing, check out IAM member Adam Guy‘s article on fugu (as in the killer poison sushi in The Simpsons).

I was dreaming about fishing last night – so it’s odd to wake up and see this tattoo. I like the shading.

    ‘I caught you a delicious bass…’

I cant be the only one thinking that!

Great detail for such a small tattoo.

Thats a very nice tattoo. It’s a shame you cant capture the skinny quality of a fishes scales in tattoo form, thats my favorite part about them.

I’ve never caught a freshwater bass, only sea bass. And damn do they taste good…
