Steve Truitt just did a cutting and skin removal intended to leave a scar reminiscent of a head that’s been torn off! There’s another session to go to make the scar go all the way around, and sutures will also be used to give it a realistic look. Got a hankerin’ to similate an amputation? Visit him at Stay Gold Tattoo and Body Modification in Albuquerque, NM.

There are still 2 sessions to go, one to finish the cutting all the way around, and then one to put stitches in it once the cuts heal a little bit. Then it will look like it was torn off and sewn back on.
And just to clarify, it was done really uneven (in depth and width) on purpose to add to the effect he wants when it’s healed.

Yeah, I’ve seen skin rips tattooed on the neck in BME before, but never an actual cutting. Great job. I’m sure the end result will be awesome, I would love to see pics of it.

This is an awesome idea. I wouldn’t want it on me but I’d love to see what it looks like when it heals. 😀

Wow that is amazing. Considering it is now 8 years later there must be a link to the finished/healed product? Can someone post it? Awesome stuff
