OK… I like Thursdays, and I really like pretty girls with mods of all kinds. So that’s my plan here for today. If you don’t like it, Steve will smash a flourescent tube on you (and can I just say, wow, whoever’s on the camera — that’s some awesome trigger finger timing). Oh, and don’t worry overly hetero girls and overly homo guys… I will do a “Lucky BMEboy Day” soon as well.
Oh yeah, and it’s Phil‘s birthday today! He’s the guy that processes pretty much every single image that you see on BME and does an aweful lot of the work that keeps the site going. Happy Birthday Phil!

i love the fact that on his chest/stomach is painted the face of a bull, or ram or some livestock, and hes wearing shag carpet type yeti pants. i think that that combination of detail is just the cherry on top of the sundae for an already awesome picture

Awesome photo. One of my friends has a camera that can automatically take one picture after another in sets of 10 or 30 just by pushing the button once. Maybe the photographer has the same thing? Otherwise that is insanely good timing.

I hope Steve realizes that those lights contain mercury vapor, which is kinda bad when you are throwing shards of glass at skin….

the canon mark 2 8 meg camera shoots 8.5 frames per second. (by holding the button) the highest frame rate in digital cameras to date. there is another 35 mm film camera from canon that shoots 10 frames per second. video itself is only 29.975 frames
typically both used for high speed sports photography like soccer and skateboarding. however there are highly seasoned single shot skateboarding photographers that know their camera timing inside and out. i suspect that this is not a high speed camera but a well seasoned photographer and i applaud the shot as well
