I don’t understand why, as a group that is pro-modification, the members would applaud her if she got her breasts pierced (nipples), tattooed, or scarred, or a silicone star implanted, but if she gets silicone bags implanted it’s not ok. So they don’t look like natural breasts, so what?! Does tattooed skin look like normal skin? Does a bisected penis look like a normal one? How about genital beads? But because breast implants are mainstream they’re ugly?

There’s no hypocrisy here. Like starspring says, just because someone is modified, it doesn’t mean that they have to abandon all sense of objectivity and like everything they see.

I have to wonder if the reason so many dislike her breast implants (I will admit I’m not a fan of fake boobs in general), has more to do with the motivation behind modifications like that, rather than the actual mod itself?
Now, I know I can’t comment specifically for this woman and her reasons for getting breast implants, but I can say that the majority who do are trying to mold thier bodies into something more ‘mainstream’ and become closer to the standard of beauty. While most people who are into tattoos, piercings, and other forms of modification are trying to reclaim their bodies and send the message that different can be beautiful.
I know I just made a lot of assumptions, and I know that I’m most likely way off base. I just have to wonder if things like this aren’t accepted as readily because they’re seen as another form of conformity and giving into what OTHER people think your body should look like.

I think it’s natural for people here, including myself, to react like that, simply because we have to fight our corners for our less mainstream (but in a lot of cases less major) modifications, whereas on an “ordinary” webpage she’d just have a lot of she-is-sexy comments. Someone who got fired because of her breast implants would WIN a court case.
Also, perhaps there’s a feeling of betrayal – many modified people try so hard to get every kind of beauty accepted, and we’re pissed off because she’s all “fine I’ll just look like a mainstream “hottie” and make my life easier”.
These kinds of thoughts may not be admirable, but it’s TOTALLY understandable.
Remember children, most tattooists are covered in ink but how many filthy rich plastic surgeons lack “work” of any sort….

for me, this has nothing to do with her reasons for getting the boobie implants. the thing that makes her breasts unattractive to me is that they aren’t really breasts. i guess some people like the cantaloupes, i, personally, think she could have gotten better work elsewhere or just not gone so big.
what differs body modification from plastic surgery is plastic surgery is almost always meant to look natural. you don’t want someone coming up to you being all “oh, great fake cheekbones!” at least in our popular society anyway.
I personally don’t think it matters whether a mod is mainstream or not, yes, Em does have a point in that tattoos and piercings aren’t considered normal, but fake breasts often have a sort of general stigmatism. For instance, from many of the people in this community itself. I’ve found that people with large implants generally DO get a lot of negative attention, and there’s a lot of general publicity in the media about why women should not get breast implants.
To me, a mod is a mod, and many mods I don’t personally like, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t count as a “body modification” or that the person shouldnt’ do it just because I don’t like it. If someone wants grapefruit breasts and they will feel much better about themselves with them, great, I applaud them for taking their own opinion about themselves to heart. That doesn’t mean I want breast implants, I’m personally satisfied with my breasts and don’t want to change it, and I also do not like the look of “grapefruit” breasts, but I’m fine with other people wanting them too.

I have no comment to make about the way she looks, except she is clearly happy so who am I to judge. What I do question is why she got naked for a photo of a navel and tongue piercing. I insisted that the photo is photoshopped. Whether or not her snatch has been modified i don’t know, that’s not the perticular area i was looking at myself. The body over all looks to me like it had a little bit of touching up. Glider has admitted in the past that he does general photo editing on photos he puts up. Just becasue he says that is the natural shape of her labia dosen’t mean that the rest of the photo hasen’t been p-shopped. Even if he didn’t touch the photo at all, he dosn’t know if anyone has touched it before it ever reached his inbox.

Just a comment about the “neatness” of her pussy, it is normal just not so common according to my doctor.
