A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Gratuitous

By gratuitous I mean that I feel gratitude that people send me pictures. These star tattoos were done by Sky Winchester at One Shot Tattoo in San Francisco.

ummm.. can we maybe raise the bar a little bit on “bmegirls.” like, i don’t need to see the same tattoo a thousand times just because it’s on a semi-goodlooking (and that’s debatable!) girl. thank you!

I’m not sure why, but star tattoos anger me.
I think it’s because just about every person who has any tattoos has stars somewhere on them…not very creative.
….and if she was fat or something, I’m guessing they wouldn’t be posted at all….

I really like star tattoos, no matter how many of them I’ve seen. They’re always beautiful. Someone should feed her something, though.

It’s strange that while not many people today would think it’s acceptable to comment that a curvier girl could do with losing a few pounds, it’s still OK to tell a thin women that she needs to ‘eat something’.

I think sometimes, from women, the whole “She should eat something” Is pure and utter jealousy. The girl in question doesn’t look unhealthy, some people genuinely are that naturally slim (having met a few and being utterly envious, I know this) whatever they eat.

I have to admit, that I don’t care how common they are, star tattoos look great, to me anyway. These ones look good, and I like the placement. Ribs, ouchie!

I personally think this girl is really cute. I would say “Come on Shannon, post some fatties” But well, maybe I should post more pictures before I can bitch about girls like me not being posted 😛

Also, before I get utterly slaughtered, I only said “sometimes, from women, the whole” because I can’t see things from a man’s perspective, I don’t know why men would say that she needs to eat something, but being a women, I know why some women do 🙂

I think what Stacey means is that you can outright tell a thin girl to “eat something” to her face, but it’s absolutely not acceptable to tell and overweight woman to put down the fork.

yup and that’s SUCH bullshit since being slightly underweight has been shown to increase lifespan where as being overweight brings on a great malady of disorders before heart attack, diabetes or stroke kills them prematurely. I’m at a normal weight right now but I sure did enjoy much greater acceptance in society, particularly among females my age when I was overweight after baby. I’m quite sick of the bully attitude.

How come her face looks all messed up? She should turn so we only see the back of her head in future pictures. Definitely a butterface.
