A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

I think that that is one of the most self-proclaimed tattoos I have ever seen. Considering he is handicapped, that tattoo speaks volumes. I’ve only known one person trully handicapped and they were blind, the only time he wanted help was at the zoo, kids ‘cept running in front of him at the duck pond and he didn’t wanna whack one in the face with his stick. I don’t understand why not, but still, he is amazing in living his everyday life. Thats an awesome tattoo.

that’s an amazingly positive tattoo! the gentleman who has it is taking power over his handicap instead of letting his handicap overpower him – rock the fuck on.

Damn straight. I love this tattoo. I love seeing people use tattoos as something positive like this. My own father is disabled/handicaped, whatever you want to call it, and he has a tattoo that empowers him a similar way 🙂 So this makes me smile

    Very cool.

But is this also a reference to the stereotyping of people with disabilities, which is also called “supercripping”?

    🙂

Either way, much with the rocking.
