A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Heh, I thought this was an appropriate picture given the current IAM server issues!!! Anyway, enjoy today’s updates here — I’ve tried to post a little bit more than usual. I don’t have any news on the IAM server — the original builder hasn’t been able to source the issue either (at least not immediately) — but I have ordered parts to build a second machine tomorrow if it comes down to that. So no matter what, we’ll be back online this weekend.

Again, if you want to help out, please email pictures for BME to [email protected]! Pictures and stories are the fuel that keep BME alive!

one thing that i always notices is that the time is always ahead of mine…im in Newfoundland…we are ahead of everyone else in Canada and the US…so how can the time be ahead of me unless you are in England or something…

It’s awkwardly ahead for me too.

Shannon. Good luck with the server, man. I’d planned a rant about the state of medical literature regarding piercings but that will keep. I’ll still be pissed about it over the weekend and probably for some years to come.

Time is always behind for me (I think!) but that makes sense seeing that I’m in Aussie.

Good luck getting everything running Aokay. I wanted to contact you about offering some help with programming and dev for iam, but I think I’ll wait until things are a little less stressful on that side.

Burning Angel (#3): The time is always ahead of me here too, and I live in the same time-zone as Shannon (and BME). Not even an hour away…

Now why anyone would buy their clothing just so they can advertise for them confused me.

But why someone would get a rather poor tattoo of a silly logo like that on their forearm is even beyond my level of possible comprehension.

Burning Angel – I guess this blog is hosting somewhere out in the Atlantic, on BME’s raft-based home base?
