A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Kiki’s Suspension

Thanks to Kiki and Kola for sending me this picture of her suspending in a really beautiful environment (Krisiuk Falls in Obera, Argentina) with Freaks’ Bloody Tricks Team.

I’m new to this site, and I came here to look at the awesome tats. Some of the piercings are really cool as well, but I’ve got to be honest – I really can’t understand the attraction to this kind of thing. I’m not going to slam it as being stupid, etc; I have an open mind, and I have heard of this kind of thing being done in tribes, and ancient civilizations throughout the world, but what does it do for the participants in todays society? I would ask doesn’t it hurt, but that’s not the most original question! I imagine that it has to a little, but that there must be some sort of feeling of pleasure from it as well – otherwise why do it?
    Sorry,I’m thinking out loud!
