A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Modcon Street Team

I don’t know if the person who’s been spreading the good word wants to be outed; if you do, feel free to post in the forum. But I do have some ModCon news and I figured that this was as good a picture as any to post it with! ModCon V (which was originally planned for Venezuela, but we had to back off because of changes to Venezuelan law) will take place in Toronto in late March 2007. I’ll post full details in a week or two.

Nice stencil, bit messy in the spraying, but nothing a bit of practice wouldn’t fix.

Modcon Street Team – Cool, good luck with them, try using adhesive spray to keep the stencil inplace, so you have free hands, that makes things a bit easier.

Leroy, good advice, i’ve been using masking tape and it seems to be doing ok, i tend not to allow my stencil to dry well enough before using it again and i think that is one of my main problems. i need to make a few more of the same that i can switch between.

There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension.
