It’s fairly rare to see First Nations tattoos (Ryan is the only person I know with one in person), so it was nice to get this picture. Bill sends in this tattoo of Iroquois style work (with a little bit of Europe tossed in), done by Justin at Sleepy Hollow Studios in Welland, Ontario.

It’s actually not that rare at all to see them — at least in my world. I can think of at least 10 people I know (personally) with Aboriginal-themed tattoo work (who are actually Aboriginal people anyways) —- it’s just that none of them are on BME or IAM.

I’ve seen a bunch of them. But then again, I grew up in a place that means Drift wood in Iroquois.
Hmm. I’ve been seeing a lot of Native American styled tattooing, but not much from the other side of the strait.
Actually, now that I think of it – nothing Russian styled.
Is that because there was no tattooing going on there (hard for me to believe), or is it just not popular?
