A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Burned out stars

I love the way this scarification — branding over a solid black tattoo — turned out. Another wonderful piece by Quentin at Kalima Modifications in Worthing, Sussex, UK.

    Quentin does great work.
Highly recommended for his scarification, branding and ritual approach to body mod. Even if he is based in Worthing…

That is the most gorgeous scarifications/tattoos I have ever seen. There’s not one thing about it that I dislike. The placement of the stars, the fact that they’re not all the same size…. wow!

hay this might sound stupid , but does branding over tattoos always take the ink out like that ? or was he just very lucky ? either way i think it turned out beautifull . also did the guy get the black work knowing he was gonna brand over it or was it just something he was stuck with and came up with one of the greatest ideas ever to fix it?

I was just wondering what a brand over my blackwork would look like. If I could get results like that, wow.
