- Tethered in Timeby JonathonSome suspensions are planned down to the last detail—others arise suddenly, yet carry just as much meaning. For Kyle and Aly, what began as a spontaneous idea became a deeply symbolic expression of shared history and emotional connection. The number of hooks told a story… Read more: Tethered in Time
- Held by Hooks, and Each Otherby JonathonFacilitators and practitioners—the very people who bring so many suspensions to life—often pour their energy into others, quietly setting aside their own opportunities. Brenton and Brittany are one such example. Traveling all the way from Houston, TX, they came to the Ontario Suspension Convention not… Read more: Held by Hooks, and Each Other
- When Tongue Piercings Meet Medicineby Coin-coin le CanapinIn 2010, a German study was published involving subjects with tongue piercings. The tongue piercing was used as part of a device designed to relieve obstructive sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea is a disorder affecting many individuals. Severely affected individuals may suffer from various long-term… Read more: When Tongue Piercings Meet Medicine
- Suspended, Not Silencedby JonathonThere’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension. We all build up ideas about ourselves—what we’re allowed to feel, how much we’re allowed to express, when it’s okay to break. For some, suspension is not about pushing physical limits its… Read more: Suspended, Not Silenced
- A Nightbird’s Passageby JonathonSome stories take their time, unfolding over decades, through life’s long detours and diversions. But dreams never rest until they’re fully realized. Even after 15 years, Robb knew there was still a suspension experience waiting for him. Something left unfinished, something essential. At the Ontario… Read more: A Nightbird’s Passage
- What Lifts the Body, Shifts the Soulby JonathonFirst suspensions are rarely just about the body—they’re a meeting point between the physical and the deeply personal. Stepping into this experience isn’t simply about trying something new, but about stepping outside yourself to a version you had always sensed was waiting. I’ve had a… Read more: What Lifts the Body, Shifts the Soul

Haha, sweet! Wonder if it’s a reference to the song “Move Your Feet” by “Junior Senior”? (http://dag.wieers.com/personal/lyrics/Move_Your_Feet.php )
That makes me giggle. I wonder how even it’ll look after it heals since it looks pretty fresh.
made me think of ‘blue lines’ by massive attack but I think it’s been used in songs pretty often
very nice, clean lettering 🙂
dude, it’s clearly dave chapelle.
could also be the rap song by Young Gunz.
motivation for running?
Great. I just had gotten that song outta my head.
all that matters is that i almost pissed myself laughing… totally triumphant greatness…
Haha, this has /got/ to be a Junior Senior reference. Good call!
i’m almost certain that’s a kottonmouth kings reference.

rocafella records cause
we get down, baby, we get down, baby
the girls, the girls they love us
cause we stay fresh to death

Gill Scott is what I thought….
haha. it’s probably all of those and none of those. it may just be his personal motto, not from any song or other reference at all.
I like it…it’s a motivation to yourself, can’t stop won’t stop, let nobody stop me:)…and what a perfect place to put it on:d
That line’s been around for a very long time. There’s even a book about the history of the hip-hop generation by that title. If it were me it would be a KRS-ONE reference:

Oh, that wins.
Yeah, we’re probably all wrong (or right) about the reasons, it doesn’t really matter. Though it was the placement on the feet that made me think of Junior Senior, seeing how the song is called Move Your Feet.
I think this phrase can also be applied to Shannon’s posting habits. 😀
Its also in a Suede song “Crackhead”, a b-side for a single. can’t stop / won’t stop. got nothing / no no no no no no. give it up”
Shannon, have you noticed that every time you say you’re not going to post, you do?
Can’t stop!(can’t stop!)
Can’t stop the beat!
I won’t stop! (wont stop!)
Won’t stop my feet!
GO!
I’ve thought that while walking across my college campus in rain and cold weather…
“Can’t stop, can’t miss class! One foot in front of the other…”
I love these/this tattoo/s!
its a madball lyric reference

“I think this phrase can also be applied to Shannon’s posting habits.”
I think maybe Shannon was saving it for just such an occasion 🙂
The linework is really crisp and even. Nice!
the only thing this does for me is get “no.5″ by hollywood undead stuck in my head. 🙁
for some reason micheal jackson popped into my mind when looking at these feet…
Simple yet striking
Love it. Only those are foot marks (as in the measurement) and not apostrophes as they should be. They should be curled, not straight (the font is Arial Bold).
oh eric, font dorks like you get me all hott.
p.s. with everything italicized like this, all of your postings look so poetic and lovely.
i’m not sure of the source, but i’ve heard the quote in a dj mix before. “can’t stop, won’t stop, gotta gotta get mine.” it was a jungle/ragga mix if i remember.
did someone not cap off their html?
weird….
I wonder if this will work…
Nope, still italic. Sorry for the comment-spam. (I closed an italics bracket midways through that sentance, by the way)
“Can’t Stop, Won’t stop. unstoppable.” Is a line in a song by ‘Scribe’ a New Zealand rapper.. That’s what I thought of anyway. Seems it’s in a LOT of songs huh…
CAN’T STOP! WON’T STOP! BAD BOY FOR LIFE!
I agree with Kelli on the ‘hollywood undead’
(can’t stop won’t stop charlie make the booty drop)
