A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

The Resurrection

Thanks to Dispel for this nice snapshot of NamesOfTheDead‘s ressurection suspension by Vampy and the Body Evolution crew in the UK.

I’d love to see a video of the actual process of lifting the suspendee up during a resurrection suspension. I think it’d look pretty neat.

    Got any lying about?

The view of this photo looks exactly what a resurrection should look like, to me anyway.
I’d also love to see video.

It was soooo beautiful to see. Sadly I’m not really deserving of the credit for it, as although it was at my house, I was busy doing other things so wasn’t actually involved.

I’ve just seen the video of it, and it looks just as amazing. If namesofthedead doesn’t mind, and Shannon is happy with the idea, we can send the video in to be put on modblog once it’s been edited.
