A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

DIY Skin Peel

I like this DIY skin removal gallery, done by David Hoffman at Ink Gallery in Tennesee. The thing that struck me, outside of it being a nice photo, was that I can’t wait until I have noticeable wrinkles and lines in my face. It can add so much more character to a person’s face.

I always feel like I’m alone in the desire to grow older, find new wrinkles, start turning gray (I’ll probably *still* dye it, but it won’t be to cover the gray!). I don’t know a single woman that’s ever understood me when I say that. 😡

My favourite feature on my husband (iam.bmezine.com/?thesatisfiedmind) is his eye wrinkles. They aren’t very prominent unless he smiles, so I look forward to seeing more of them as he ages.

There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension. First suspensions are rarely just about the body—they’re a meeting point between the physical and the deeply personal.
