A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Heavy blackwork

Awesome! Dan DiMiattia has a very special talent for blackwork. I hope, one day, to have him cover my face and head with something equally original.

The tattoo is so good that it takes a while for you to realize that he’s standing naked in the middle of a kind of crowded room… it looks so natural, as if the tattoos are his clothes.

I didn’t know that was Dan’s work. It seems a little more solid black than I would expect but its beautiful in any case. I also agree with the other poster that it looks like he’s clothed instead of standing naked in a room full of dressed people. top notch work and a great suit concept. Makes you wish you lived in Belgium doesn’t it?

Didn’t know it was a copy. Argh!! Goes to show how much better it looks in the original version. At least my comments about Dan’s work and wanting to live in belgium are still relevant!
