If FaireUna invites you over for a needle party, don’t assume that it has anything at all to do with knitting. But seriously, what is it about the UK that gets me so many submissions like this? Defiance of GBH laws? Punk ethos and attitude still lingering in the air?

    Because we’re genuinely all double-hard bastards and the police response to walking around in publis with a row of needles up each arm is literally:

    “Oi. Are those needles?”

    “…Yes.”

    “You’re not a smackhead are ya?!”

    “…No.”

    It does…But that misspelling of ‘public’ makes me very, very ashamed..

    It almost reads as ‘pube lice’! 🙁

    I maintain that the police here are awesome…An opinion that grows stronger each time I visit another country.
