A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Best Scarification Bodysuit in the World?

Personally I think that Whitespace currently wears the single best scarification bodysuit in the world. I don’t think there’s a nicer piece that’s at the scale of his work. What you see in this photo is all by the monstrously talented Dave Gillstrap (visit the Dave Gillstrap scarification photo gallery on BME).

    Gorgeous.

Is it just me, or do you just want to run your hands over it? It would feel so neat… 🙂

How much of his body does it actually take up? is it sleeves/back/fron/legs..? how much does it have to be to be a suit?

I was lucky enough to see his work in person at an event a while back, and it’s even more stunning when you can see it up close. I have to admit to a definite urge to run my hands over the piece, but I didn’t want to be jerk so I restrained myself. 😛

It’s breathtaking! I adore the theme — Om to lotus and everything in between, and the images are even more magical as scars.

I absolutly LOVE this one, I like how the scarring itsnt so pronounced but visable at the same time. I also love the details in the design, it isnt something that was half assed and thaught of at the last minute like some of the others.

Really really sick. Makes me want to get something like this done 🙂

Hey, two questions; is there a way to control the keloid or is it completely left to chance? because i love the fine lines on Whitespace’s scarification, however, i have seen some where the keloid grows out and i don’t really dig that.

and secondly, did you use pain killers?

    Thanks,
