A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Pierced arm stub

I’ll post more stuff later tonight, but before I got started on other projects this morning I wanted to post this “arm stub piercing” done by Devin in Oregon. The jewelry through the nipple-like protrusion on the end of the stub is a 14ga 3/8″ curved barbell.

I love it when people take active and proud control of their body, no matter how it’s shaped!

A friend of mine who is a thalidomide baby and has phocomelia wanted to get something in the stump he has. I hope the owner of that piercing doesn’t mind getting the idea copied.

think it was a different one than this…
    this is awesome…

That would honestly be a good experience to have on BME… not many people can put that sort of experience into words and it might show folks a different mod.
