A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

If the van’s a-rockin’…

I love this zebra girl pinup tattoo by Jay at Lotus Tattoo in Sayville, NY… It’s so 1982! If I ever get a van, this is high on my list of what’s getting airbrushed on the side.

Why is it okay to make fun of some tattooes but not others?

I’m not making fun of this tattoo, I honestly love it!!! I also love Trans Ams, punk rock, early metal, and lots of other things from that era. There’s no subtle teasing or mocking in this entry. I sincerely like it!!!!

i feel like it is slightly wrong that the zebra woman is riding an actual zebra. that’s just me.

Is it just me or does it look like her right arm is growing out of her throat?

Yeah. Maybe she’s gasping for air because that arm in her throat is restricting her breathing.

man I remember seeing this picture in an old penthouse I swiped from my dads collection, a woman was the artist I just dont remember her name….and i dont think the tattoo does the original artwork the proper justice.
the original piece was seared into my pubescent mind…

It’s a reproduction of an airbrushed painting from Playboy… the artist’s name is “Olivia De Berardinis” or just “Olivia”. In fact I’ve seen a lot of her work in these pages… She inspires a lot of tattoos
