A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Fish Piercing? [The Publisher’s Ring]

Fish Piercing?

What censorship accomplishes, creating an unreal and hypocritical mythology, fomenting an attraction for forbidden fruit, inhibiting the creative minds among us and fostering an illicit trade. Above all, it curtails the right of the individual, be he creator or consumer, to satisfy his intellect and his interest without harm. In our law-rooted society, we are not the keeper of our brother’s morals — only of his rights.

Watch it yourself and you will probably see him. Once the camera hits him, he points advertising like Uncle Sam. SuperFly Don Cornelius!!!!!

So by their logic, I should go out and stab people with an pice pick with impunity because other people go around killing people…. Better sharpen my ice pick! I’ve got an airtight defense!

If “there are fish out there with hooks in them” is a defence, then I completely agree with NojuanEspecial, that would justify no end of stupid and senseless violence. A fish – and any other animal – cannot consent to this. (Nor would they probably if they could…) People can choose piercings, and this is an OK thing to do for us, but piercing any animal, fish or otherwise, is done purely to amuse humans and causing pain in the process.
I cannot in any way condone piercing any animal, even if this fish did “not complain”…
    How stupid is this anyway?
