Simple Earlobes, Right And Wrong

I've loved stretched ear lobes since the first time I saw them, it's so much more personal because of the patience it takes to get there, rather than seeing all the people who went to Claire's for their 18g. I decided to get my start and have them pierced. At first, I went on the recommendation of a friend to another studio in Calgary besides Tribal Expression. I had been to Tribal for my labret and loved the experience there, but it is pricey; this was my first wrong. If you're going to mod your body in any way, even ... read more

Tongue Web

It was the beginning of the school year. In the summer I had gotten two new piercings. My nose, and my top ear. I walked into my school and felt original, since no one else had these piercings. But I was missing something. I wanted another piercing. I heard that these girls in my grade were piercing their tongue webs. I had never heard of that piercing, so I decided to look it up on BME. When I saw it, I fell in love. I researched the piercing more, and looked up how to do it at home. Then I ... read more

My tragus experience.

So basically I had wanted to have this done since i was about fifteen years old. Back then i assumed I would need parental consent, something i KNEW my parents would never allow. Piercings in their eyes are for uncouth individuals and certainly not for their only daughter. Once I had reached eighteen and left home for University i just assumed i was too much of a geek to do something so reckless. Time passed and before I knew it I was twenty. I knew I wanted to get it done before my twenty first birthday and April is obviously ... read more

The Wonderful World of my Tongue Piercing!

Hi, hello! Today I'm going to be talking(or writing if you want to get technical) about my latest piercing. My tongue. I just got it pierced Thursday which was 3 days ago and obviously its still healing but I'll share my story to the best of my ability. So I browse this website a lot. Like everyday to be exact, I guess I have no life but I read all the experiences, and here I am reading stories about tongue piercings and what not and it interests me. Way back when, the tongue piercing had caught my eye. I watched ... read more

My second and third DIY piercings!

Last month I wrote about my very first DIY piercing experience (which was my right cartilage) and now I am back to write about my newest piercings! You can read my first story here: http://www.bme.com/pierce/01-ear/A91102/earmyver.html. My name is Sarah and I am 16 years old. I have a total of 10 piercings, which include: first lobes, second lobes, third lobes (what this story is about), right tragus, left cartilage, right cartilage and bellybutton. Last week I was sitting in my math class (again) talking to my two friends. We started talking about piercings and my friend (not the same one ... read more

Painless tongue piercing

I don't even know how I got it into my head to pierce my tongue - I'd had my ears done twice and ended up taking and leaving both out after a head X-ray (broken jaw), and then for some reason I went straight to this. I always thought it looked cool and might be entertaining to fiddle with in my perpetual ADD boredom (honestly nothing dirty was a motivation for me). I heard so many horror stories about tongues swollen to grotesque sizes, inability to talk or eat, having to sleep sitting up... I told my friend C, who ... read more

My lobe story. From nothing to 44mm in a year.

I've stretched my ears off and on three times since I was fourteen. I'm now nineteen. The reason that it was 3 times, instead of one solid slow consistent stretch with tape was mostly due to age. Being stupid, fourteen, and using cheap silicone tunnels. I just wish that someone would have told me how to correctly stretch, before I ripped my lobes multiple times. So, I let them heal, and as one closed completely, the other lobe had so much scar tissue after a 5/8 to 3/4 silicone dead stretch, no more damage could be done. A little over ... read more

My favorite piercing!

After months of wanting my tongue pierced, I finally decided to get it done. I had researched tongue piercings for a couple of weeks and the pros outweighed the cons. I had gotten my tragus pierced at a tattoo/piercing shop about five months before but the place I went to was kind of sketchy so I wanted to find a different establishment to get my tongue piercing at. I had heard through a couple of friends that Pour Boiz was a really great place for tattoos and piercings because the employees really know what they are doing. A friend of ... read more

Father-daughter piercing experience

Every once in a while, the voice of quality and of alternative culture triumphs over that of mass-culture garbage. This is one of those stories. For me, body piercing and tattooing are things that when done right make the world a prettier, more playful place. And I just put my money where my mouth is. My daughter turned ten this fall. A number of her friends have had their ears pierced and she had been asking to get hers done. Her mother said okay and from some of the girls' parents they got the names of a couple of mall ... read more

Lucky 13

Here I am, with a shitfaced grin, a bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol, a piercing needle, and an eyebrow ring. No, I am not drunk, the shitfaced grin is just in anticipation of what I am about to do. I have brushed my teeth, drank a bunch of water, eaten, washed my whole face with rubbing alcohol, put the kid I was babysitting to bed, and sat here reading about the supraorbital nerve (the nerve that is the reason that countless web pages and people and such say don't pierce your eyebrow unless you're a trained professional, cause if you ... read more
