I have wanted my tongue pierced since I was 12 years old, but having very sensible parents I was not allowed it done until I was quite a bit older (which is of course a good thing!). Although it really did wind me up when I was younger, I am pleased they made me wait because it allowed me to be mature in my choice, as at the end of the day, it can be a dangerous piercing if you get it done at the wrong place! And you have to be really strict in caring for it (no infections ...

So I'm a piercing addict. Ever since I started boarding school, I sometimes get the urge to be a bit 'NAUGHTY' and piercings was the way to go for me! Before I got my tongue pierced that fateful day, I had 3 helix and 2 lobe piercings and a conch in my left ear, and 1 right lobe piercing. I've got double belly rings and that was the extent of my piercings. My brother's friend was a MAJORLY pierced person. And one day we were chatting and she showed me her tongue web ring. The image stuck with me until ...

Okay, so, it all started when i was about 13. I had just one piercing in each lobe, and wanted more. So i got a second hole, a couple of years later, got a third one. And slowly over the past couple of years I've desperately wanted to get pierced, somewhere not very common. I'm a person who tends to enjoy being different sometimes. And i wanted a piercing that was different. So after reading a bunch of stories on here, I got my smiley pierced. But that's another post. So one day, I come across a picture of a ...

College is about growth, decisions, both good and bad. When I turned eighteen I had gone to a random piercer in Orlando and had my eyebrow pierced. Two months later the piercing had grown out and left a scar, to this day small children run up to me and point out their chicken pox scars in relation to the eye brow mark I bear. Two years after the failed eyebrow piercing I was entertaining the idea of a tongue piercing. I honestly don't know what appealed so much about the piercing, but my junior year in college I was in ...

I, like many other users on this site, feel that I am addicted to piercings. The nerves and excitement about a new piercing can possibly only be topped by a new tattoo, but at the time I got my tongue pierced a tattoo was out of the question and at 17, I'm surprised I got away with that much. Anyway, about 4 years ago I continued my long fight to get my tongue pierced and told my friends that when I got to class it would be done, so that weekend my mom, brother, and I made a trip to ...

====== Before Hand ======== Okay, so I had always had my eye on a central tongue piercing, ever since i was about 16. As a guy though, my parents weren't really up for it, they didn't like piercings in general but told me that when I was 18 I could do what I liked. Success. So I waited until I was 18, and threw the idea at them again. I got the "you live under our roof, you live under our rules". Since I was still living with them, and was dependant on them for my college fees, I figured ...

It was the beginning of the school year. In the summer I had gotten two new piercings. My nose, and my top ear. I walked into my school and felt original, since no one else had these piercings. But I was missing something. I wanted another piercing. I heard that these girls in my grade were piercing their tongue webs. I had never heard of that piercing, so I decided to look it up on BME. When I saw it, I fell in love. I researched the piercing more, and looked up how to do it at home. Then I ...

Hi, hello! Today I'm going to be talking(or writing if you want to get technical) about my latest piercing. My tongue. I just got it pierced Thursday which was 3 days ago and obviously its still healing but I'll share my story to the best of my ability. So I browse this website a lot. Like everyday to be exact, I guess I have no life but I read all the experiences, and here I am reading stories about tongue piercings and what not and it interests me. Way back when, the tongue piercing had caught my eye. I watched ...

I don't even know how I got it into my head to pierce my tongue - I'd had my ears done twice and ended up taking and leaving both out after a head X-ray (broken jaw), and then for some reason I went straight to this. I always thought it looked cool and might be entertaining to fiddle with in my perpetual ADD boredom (honestly nothing dirty was a motivation for me). I heard so many horror stories about tongues swollen to grotesque sizes, inability to talk or eat, having to sleep sitting up... I told my friend C, who ...

After months of wanting my tongue pierced, I finally decided to get it done. I had researched tongue piercings for a couple of weeks and the pros outweighed the cons. I had gotten my tragus pierced at a tattoo/piercing shop about five months before but the place I went to was kind of sketchy so I wanted to find a different establishment to get my tongue piercing at. I had heard through a couple of friends that Pour Boiz was a really great place for tattoos and piercings because the employees really know what they are doing. A friend of ...
