Ear stretching

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990701/earstr1.html"> I am a 16 year old girl who goes to a very *creative* school where people express themselves through tattoos, interesting clothing, make-up, and piercing. Several of my friends have piercing in their tongues, septum, lips and nipples. My parents are very tentative about letting me try any of these things, but I wanted to extend the activity in piercing I was going through so I decided to take things into my own hands in a small, subtle stretching. On a nice sunny afternoon I walked downtown Kitchener (where I live) and walked into a store called ... read more

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/earbigst.html"> My friend is the head piercer in a small piercing shop in my town called Tat2uz-N-Piercings. He has a bunch of piercings and one day I was in his studio(I had no piercings at that time) and some how we got into the discussion of ear stretching. He said something about how some mummies were found with very largely stretched ear piercings..like one was around 6 inches or so. I was totally amazed. I had been friends with him for awhile and I had the opportunity to witness quite a few piercings, including various ear piercings, navels, ... read more

lobe piercing experience from a wuss

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/earlobe.html"> Ok, so I don't actually remember my first lobe piercings. I was only 2 weeks old when my mother had them pierced, as was the tradition in my family. Since then, I'd only gotten 1 more piercing; my tongue. The tongue piercing did not really give me any idea of what kind of pain to expect from any piercing going through my skin though. Since the tongue is a muscle, I felt almost nothing when the needle went through and the after pain was the worst part. So when I decided to get more lobe piercings, I ... read more

gunned to 1/2" in less than six weeks

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/eargod.html"> To start, I am a guy, who was never really into piercings before. I had kind of thought about getting my ear done but never really took it seriously. I am seventeen and one day I was searching around for some cool ear piercing ideas and I saw the section on lobe stretching on BME. I thought, cool, I'll get me ear pierced, then stretch it to 6 and 8. Well, heres what really happened. First of all, it took a lot to convince my parents to let me pierce my ear (I never told them of ... read more

My Acrylic Stretch

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/earacry.html"> Last summer I decided, after going to a big show and seeing so much of it, that I wanted to stretch my lobes a wee bit. After THE longest talks with my parents about it, they finally said I'd be allowed to, as long as I did the usual when I ask for something like this: research it and make a little write up of all the consequences, make the appointment and find out information about the piercer. After all this, they said okay and it was underway. The next day, I called the *AWESOME* piercing studio, ... read more

Sewing Needle Pierce

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/earsew.html"> I had my lobes pierced at the local mall with a gun while in Junior High. They quickly became a problem; constantly angry and swollen or even infected. I lost one gold earring down the sink from the only pair of studs I owned that did not irritate my ears. The hole quickly closed up after being left without an earring overnight, and I gave up on the other lobe, removing the remaining stud. In High School I wanted them re-done, but my mother would not take me to a tattoo shop, only back to the mall. ... read more

inner conch experience

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/earinner.html"> I have wanted to get my inner conch pierced for awhile now because of how cool it looks and how relatively unique it is (right now at least), and I finally decided to do it. I have 13 other piercings but I was kind of apprehensive about this one because of all the experiences I had read about it on BME and how much it hurt. So, I decided to just see for myself how bad it was going to be. I went to my regular piercing salon where I have gotten all my other piercings and ... read more

A birthday piercing

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/earbday.html"> Well, it was my first piercing that wasn't on an earlobe, but just so that it wouldn't feel "lonely" I had it done on the outer conch of my ear. Well, that's a poor excuse for piercing placement, making sure it didn't feel "lonely"! There were actually other reasons I chose that particular spot. A major motivation being that my dear flatmate had a ring there too, high up on the cartilaginous part of his ear, near the top, and it looked very good on him. The other reason being, that I figured for my first non-earlobe ... read more

Liz's multiple lobe punctures

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990615/eargun.html"> This tale is going to seem pretty wussy to most of you, considering it is only about a lobe piercing experience but considering I did just about EVERYTHING wrong it might be educational! I've been fascinated by piercing since I was an adolescent, but I was a pretty late bloomer I finally summoned the nerve to get my ears pierced (at the hairdresser's, with a gun) when I was 12. I was a tomboy in every sense of the word and had to be prodded by my mother to get them done! They have long since healed, ... read more

Telefina's Vertical Industrial Experience

ef = "/cgi-bin/vote/votec.cgi?/pierce/01-ear/990515/vind.html"> So here I was, a while ago, knowing that I wanted to get something in my ear pierced, but I couldn't decide what... So I looked around BME a bit and looked at a couple magazines and couldn't find anything that REALLY appealed to me... Eventually I figured I'd just get a rook or anti-traegus or something. Then one day I was at Experience the Beauty in Winnipeg, Canada (the only piercer I'll go to, at least in this city..) and was looking through his portfolio because I was bored (I had gone to pick up my ... read more
