Well first of all I know it's not a common piercing, so I feel I should explain what a UFO piercing is. Basically it's just an orbital that goes through the rook and forward helix. Here's a link to a picture of it from bmewiki: http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/UFO_Piercing Anyway I hadn't planned on getting a piercing that day. I was hanging out with a good friend of mine and we ended up at one of our favorite piercings shops, she was going to get her ears stretched. Well after I decided to show the piercer a photo of a piercing I was ...

The Decision I had a standard navel piercing for nine years before it migrated due to wearing a back brace. I was pretty bummed to see my piercing go as it had been one of the only successful piercings I had had. So even though I knew it was migrating, I thought I would be able to take it out, let it close, and I could get it redone. Well, six months went by and I realized the holes were not going to close. Therefore, I was stuck with two ugly holes that were too shallow to pierce or put ...

This is my first story, and the truth is im not sure how to write... I havent been on this site in years because of multiple problems, but thats another story... but it is good to be back... So... after years of piercing and bouncing for a living, i finally got a job that was secure in this area, only problem was my tattoos and piercings. See, for the last 10 yeaqrs I have been heavily tattooed, not as much so as some on this site, but heavily for this area, I have 2 full sleeves, neck, back, chest and ...

I've been feeling "the itch" lately to get a new piercing and decided that my trip to another city to visit friends would be the perfect time to do it. I was tossing up between getting a nose piercing or getting my nape pierced, and I decided that due to the prices in the city shop as opposed to my local shop at home, as well as trusting my piercers back home a little more, it'd probably be better that I got my nose pierced. Once I had my mind set on it there was nothing really stopping me, despite ...

The last twice I have had my septum pierced, they have failed. The first through a bad piercer and the second because I got a rather bad cold while it was still in the early stages of healing. I had been planning my return to the septy club for a while. (Although, the term septy club was coined by people I no longer speak to...go figure). I missed it greatly after my last failed attempt and was planning on getting it re done before summer started but decided that was a very bad idea; I get hay fever pretty bad ...

It started as a hopeful dream of mine. I've dreamed of having both of my nostrils pierced since I first got my septum, which was when I was eighteen. For perspective, I'm twenty-one nearing twenty-two at the moment. I was always put off by the idea for fear that there was such a thing as "too much shit" in one's face. Not so much for aesthetic value, but what in the world would I do if I sneezed? Had a cold? Had a booger? Heaven forbid I lose the ability to pinch my nose in a tissue... My sister's best ...

I have been thinking about this tattoo for a long time. I am generally more of a piercing bod myself - enjoying the escape clause that is being able to remove them if you decide to go all fickle. Nevertheless, I had been obsessing about this tattoo for a while... Admittedly, not in its final incarnation. At first, I wanted text in the outline of a star, then I realised that it was not only daft, but totally impossible to get five different sized words into a shape that small. Secondly, I hadn't a clue where to put it. This ...

It started with a bad decision. His name was Mike, and I was so in love with him. We had been dating for a while and I decided that I wanted to get a tattoo of a heart with an infinity symbol around it and his initials underneath to show that I'd always love him. I knew I had to wait until I was legal, and I was planning on making the tattoo a 20th birthday present to myself because I really didn't want to do anything rash. I made a general sketch and then took to the internet to ...

Even though I only have 4 piercings now, over the last 15 years i have actually gotten pierced ... 17 times. I am a bit surprised now that I had to think back and do a count - it's a lot of times considering I only have 3 visible rings. They are in my upper cartilage. Some of them were repiercings and some of them are retired or I really only got them to experience getting them and the liberating feeling of doing something family, society but mostly my own inhibition had held me back from doing. Anyway, I want ...

I cannot remember exactly how old I was when I first became interested in tattoos, but my first memory of interest places me as younger than four. I was taking a shower with my aunt Liz. She has a tattoo of a fish on her outer thigh. She told me then that sometimes when she takes a shower the fish swims all the way around her waist. After that I was hooked. I knew from a very young age that I wanted pictures on me too! I became interested in drawing and art increasingly throughout my teens. The internet was ...
