My little Eyebrow!!

I guess it all started when my older sister got her tongue pierced for her birthday. I really liked it and I wanted to get a piercing, but not the same one. So I started thinking about what I wanted to get done, and thought the eyebrow piercings looked really awsome. Like always, you gotta go through asking your parents, and like anyone elses, they said no. I keep bugging them for like, a month, and they told me if I quite asking, they would think about it. So i stopped for about two days and they decided I could. I was so excited about it! So insted of talking about if I could get it done, I was talking about when I was gonna get it done, It was driving my parents crazy, but they lived! I keep saying how awsome it was going to look and I keep asking them if they thought it was gonna hurt and all that good stuff, so they made me get online and look up info on it, because I didn't really no anything about them!

So I got on BME to look at random stories and pictures to make sure it was something I really wanted to get, and it was! I had to call many places to find out if they would be able to pierce me because of my age, and I finally found one called Underground. I had to wait until that coming weekend, but I didn't care, I was getting my eyebrow pierced. The weekend finally came and my dad and I left around 1:00 in the afternoon. The whole time there I was very nervous and my dad made me get a soad to drink! It only took about 20 min to get there. We got there and we were introduced to the owner, whos name was Eric, who was also the piercer. He asked what I wanted to get, and I told him my right eyebrow. So he asked for IDs and we had to sign some papers. We were told to wait while he got things ready, and it was only about three min. until he called me back.

I walked to the back room and he asked me to sit on this bed that looked just like the doctors have. He got a marker and marked my eyebrow and gave me a mirror to see if I liked where he marked. I told him it was fine, and he wiped my eyebrow with this brown stuff, I guess to clean it off. He put the clamps on and my nerves started going crazy! I thought to myself, there is no turning back now. He told me to take a deep breathe in and let it out, so I did. As I let my breath out, he shoved the needle through and I didn't feel a thing! I swear! I don't no if it was because my nerves or what, it just felt like someone was pulling down on my eyebrow. He put the jewlery in (a curved barbell) and I didn't feel that either! He said all done, I looked at it, and I fell in love with it!

I paid my $40 and I gave a $10 tip(always tip!) because they did an awsome job, he gave me a sheet on how to take care of it, said thanks, and we left. I read over the paper and saw it was very easy to take care of, all I had to do was clean it 3 times a day with antibacterial soap and keep hair and makeup away from it. Also, don't let is stay wet from a shower or whatever, I guess it makes in nasty or something. If makeup gets on it, it WILL get infected. The first time I cleaned mine, it burned a bit but nothing to bad, you also have to move you eyebrow ring or barbell around a little bit so the skin doesn't grow on it. Mine got infected a little, but I just made sure to keep up on the cleaning and it was healed fast. I've had it for about 6 months and I still love it!! Make sure you wait about four months to change it, I only waited 2 and it bleed when I took it out! Since then I have gotten my eyebrow again and my labret.

Iam going this weekend to get either my anit-eyebrow or my tongue done, my parents just don't no yet! If you have an idea on which one to get, let me no!

If you want your eyebrow pierced, I say go for it! You will love it! It wont hurt and they are easy to take care of! You wont regret it, and if you live near it , go to Underground!! If you have any questions email me! Peace!
