Title? What title? Oh! This one!
e second week of October, I went to get my eyebrow done at the same place I had gotten my belly button done because I knew they were safe. It was the moddle of the day on a Saturday, and before when I went there in the middle of the say on a Saturday they were open. Well, they weren't this time, which throughly pissed me off, but I got over it and decided to get a recommendation from a friend on where to go. My friend Janie had gotten her nipples pierced and she told me to go to the Tattoo Shop in Fort Worth. The next weekend I went on a Saturday night at about 8:30 or so with two friends, Pam and Misty. We pull up to the Tattoo Shop and go in. I asked one of the men behind the counter about the prices and told him I specifically wanted a 16 gauge barbell. He started to be really rude to me, telling me that they didn't want to do that, blah blah blah. So, I left. I figured if they didn't want to do things my way, they weren't going to get my business. Pam then tells me she knows a place where I can get it done and maybe get a discount, because she knew one of the tattoo artists. So we go there, and of cource it was closed. You've got to understand, at 8:30 at night in the middle of October, Texas gets dark! I couldn't believe they weren't open. So, I ended up going back to the place that I had gotten my belly button pierced at. We parked in the same parking lot that I had parked in the last time I was there and we all walked in. The same people were there that were the last time I was there in August. I told them what I wanted done, and they didn't have a problem with it. I payed them the $35 for the barbell and went in back of the counter while Misty and Pam browsed the tattoo pictures. The lady (I should've found out her name!) got everything out and set up and speed-claved my jewelry I was to have. She sprayed some liquid (most likely anti-bacterial soap and water) onto my left eyebrow and wiped it away. She told me to hold perfectly still and got out the clamps. She clamped them on (a little pain, not too bad, and then my skin went numb), and got open the needle. It looked kinda long, so I closed my eyes and focused on my hands. I felt a prick and a pull, and then she pushed the jewelry through. Misty gasped and I kinda flinched, which made me start bleeding and the old man there to yell at her. There was a trickle of blood that went all the way down the side of my cheek, and then the lady wiped it up. She screwed on the ball on the end of my barbell and gave me a paper towel soaked in the same liquid she sprayed on my eyebrow and gave me an after care sheet. We left and went around down in the stockyards for a while, hanging around. We went by the previously closed tattoo and piercing studio that Pam knew of, and of cource it was open. I just wanted to smack my head and scream, but that would've hurt too badly. Eventually I dropped off everyone in my car and went home. I got home and immediately broke out the Bactine I had left over from my navel piercing. I went to bed, making sure I slept on my right side. When I woke up the next morning there wasn't much swelling at all, just a tiny bit of tenderness. I cleaned it again and went on with my day. So far, this piercing has been a good experience. I've had it for a couple of months, no infections, no painfulness at all. It's really fun to sit and play with when you're bored. I still have the same silver barbell, but my friend Robbie is trying to convince me to get a blue or a purple one to accent my eyes. I might yet, I don't know. I personally recommend this piercing. It looks great on everyone I've ever seen it on, it's sexy as hell, and it's not hard to take care of. Bactine I've found works the best on every piercing I've ever had. I tried the iodine solution on my belly button and it just didn't work as well as Bactine did. It's sort of expensive, but well worth it. This has been a great thing for me, and I hope by reading this I have enlightened you. Kiju
